The Heart of Who We Are

At Sierra Home Care, there’s no one type of caregiver and no one path to care. Whether you're offering companionship or using clinical skills, your role matters. We believe fulfilled, supported caregivers provide the best care. That’s why we invest in you from day one.

Ongoing Training and Education

When you join Sierra Home Care as a caregiver, you become part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping seniors and adults with disabilities live independently at home. You’ll also be connected to one of the most trusted names in home care.

We believe your success is our success, which is why we provide the training, resources, and support you need to grow. From On-boarding and client matching to ongoing education, we’re here to help you thrive in your career while making a real difference.

Orientation and Caregiver‑to‑Client Matching

  • At Sierra Home Care, we carefully match each caregiver to the unique needs and preferences of our clients. The process begins with a free in-home assessment to understand medical, social, and emotional needs as well as personality and scheduling preferences. We then select caregivers based on skills, training, and compatibility, and involve families in the decision whenever possible. A supervisor checks in during the first visit to ensure a smooth start, and we continue with regular follow-ups to confirm satisfaction and make adjustments if needed ensuring the right caregiver fit for every client.

Ongoing Training & Growth

  • At Sierra Home Care, we’re committed to excellence through education. Our caregivers have access to a robust online learning platform with hundreds of training modules covering topics like personal care, safety, dementia support, and effective communication. This ongoing training ensures our team is confident, capable, and always equipped to provide the highest quality care to every client.
